Canvas Heavy Weight Tarpaulins

A traditional style 100% cotton canvas tarpaulin made from single filled cotton duck. Each tarp is wax processed to make the cover water resistant. Seams on the canvas tarpaulins are double row stitched (single-stitched on smaller sizes), and the hems are 1.5" with edges folded inside and double row stitched (single on smaller sizes). Rust resistant brass polished eyelets are every 3ft (90cms). The weight of the canvas is approx 540gsm (16 oz material).

Fabricated from a natural fabric, these hardy tarps are breathable; however please bear in mind that a minimal amount of shrinkage can occur where canvas tarpaulins are subject to varying temperatures. Our robust canvas tarps are wax-proofed to make them water-resistant. They will require re-treating after exposure to water, in order to maintain their resistant properties.

Please note: for all sizes under 10' x 16' the hems are single stitched, whereas CANT6 (10' x 16') and above are double stitched, and have rope reinforced hems.

These tarpaulins are dyed, and so there can be a risk of colour transference upon application - please take caution.
