Company DirectorsMany years of hard work have been put into making Tarpaflex Ltd what it is today; one of the largest and most competitive tarpaulin importers in the UK. Combined, the Company Directors have over 50 years experience working in the Tarpaulin industry. Piece by piece, Bob and Grethe have built the company from scratch and have nurtured it into the successful and well established company it is today. |
Bob PageManaging Director
Bob's career started in the South East of England where he worked for a leading roofing company as a Sales Representative. After gaining a few years of sales experience, Bob was then head-hunted by a company selling polyethylene trolley bags. During his time working for the company, Bob saw a gap in the market for other polyethylene products and suggested the company import polyethylene tarpaulins. His suggestion was disregarded by company management and so Bob decided to go it alone.
More than 25 years ago Bob imported his first 20ft container of economy tarpaulins and so Tarpaflex Ltd was born.
Personal Interests: Boating, Travelling, Cruising, Classic Cars, Movies and Fine Dining.

Managing Director
Danish born Grethe, Bob's wife, has been a key member of Tarpaflex from the day the company was started. In the early days, Grethe spent many hours researching the products and sizes Tarpaflex would later import, and even help offload, by hand, the containers once they arrived in the UK. Grethe now oversees the company finances and ensures Tarpaflex runs without fault on a daily occurrence.
Personal Interests: Cruising, Cooking, Fashion, Interior Design, Fine Dining and Gardening.

Simon Page
Sales Director
Simon began his career at Tarpaflex in 1998 as the Sales Director. Simon manages the importing of the products and deals directly with our suppliers in the Far East to ensure the manufacturing and importation process runs smoothly. Simon also oversees the day-to-day running of the company.
Personal Interests: Football, Travelling, Bird Watching, Canoeing, Politics and British Comedy.

Sales Manager, Sales & Marketing
Emily joined Tarpaflex in December 2005 and has, over the years, gained a great deal of product and sales knowledge. The experience she has gained has been paramount to her growth within the company and as a consequence, Emily now oversees the Sales and Marketing office as the Sales Manager and is directly involved in the managing of our websites and marketing campaigns. Emily also offers a supporting role to the Company Directors to ensure that Tarpaflex functions efficently and effectively on a daily basis.
Personal Interests: Skiing, Horse Riding, Scuba Diving, Food (especially desserts), Travelling and Fashion.

Jessica Pillar
Sales Coordinator, Sales
Jess has been working for Tarpaflex for the past 2 years and earlier this year took some time off to travel the Globe. She is an indispensable member of the Sales team and will work wholeheartedly to fulfill the expectations of our customers. We are pleased to welcome Jess back to the Sales Office now she has returned from her travels.

A new addition to the Tarpaflex Team, Philippa commenced her employment in May 2010 and is proving to be a valuable member of the Tarpaflex workforce. With 5 years prior experience working in Sales, Philippa is enthusiastic and keen to uphold the strong work ethic Tarpaflex is so proud of.
Personal Interests: Baking, Swimming, Harry Potter Enthusiast, Reading and Animals (Philippa has two pet Ferrets).

Annie Slatcher
Accounts Administrator, Accounts
For the last 10 years Annie has managed the accounts of our vast customer database. She makes certain that trade accounts are paid on time and that all our customers' accounts are running smoothly.

WarehousemenThe final cog in the Tarpaflex wheel is the Warehouse, where all of our stock is held. Our 3 warehousemen work hard to ensure all orders are processed and despatched as quickly and efficiently as possible, in order to provide you with a flawless shopping experience. |
 | Matthew Adams
Matt has been a key component of the Tarpaflex warehouse team for 8 years. His commitment to the company is evident in his attention to detail, crucial for all orders right across the spectrum. From large trade orders right down to individual end-user purchases, Matt strives towards a consistently accurate and speedy despatch service.
Personal Interests: Football (especially Liverpool), Cinema, Golf, Poker and Cooking. |

Steven Cole
Steve plays a similarly important role within the Warehouse team. Along with Matt, he is responsible for the electronic inputting of all delivery data, which is then coordinated with the picking of each specific order before the goods are passed onto the carrier. Steve has been working at Tarpaflex for 5 years.
Personal Interests: Motorsport, Rugby, Walking, Good Food and American Sitcoms. |  |

The latest addition to the Warehouse workforce, Luke is enthusiastic, dedicated and very hard-working. He offers constant support to Matt and Steve in the picking of each individual order, while also liasing with our sales office on a daily basis, to keep our stock figures as up to date as possible.
