Tarpaflex Tarpaulins used in Woodland Wedding

Tarpaulins are a really versatile product, and can be put to a huge variety of applications. Traditionally used to protect goods in inclement weather, they also work well as market stall covers, party canopies and for shade provision. Economy tarpaulins are lightweight and easy to handle, and offer good temporary protection, whereas a heavyweight Canvas sheet will offer more robust covering.

One customer recently used our White Standard tarps at his wedding. The event was held in a woodland setting, with a 110gsm waterproof white tarpaulin suspended over the event as a canopy, to hold off any rainfall and offer some shade provision. A ridge-beam was created using poly rope strung between two trees, with the tarpaulin then positioned to create a pitched roof. With eyelets at metre intervals, plenty of fixing points were available for the sheet to be fixed at the perimeter.

With the addition of some clever lighting, floral displays and vintage props, you can see below how the clearing was transformed into a fantastic venue for the occasion.
