Shock Cord Reel Information

Shock Cord reels are the latest addition to our range of accessories. A great alternative to rope, the polypropylene shock cord reels can be cut to specific lengths, and are supple and easy to use. Furthermore, the elasticity of the cord allows a flexibilty that is just not possible with rope.

Shock Cord Reels

The central core of the cord is composed of a solid natural rubber with UV protection, while the outer braiding is a high tenacity polypropylene, again with added UV protection.

Warning: Use caution when stretching and/or releasing cord. Keep eyes, face, unprotected parts of the body & children out of any rebound path. Protective eyewear is recommended when installing any elasticated product, uncontrolled release can cause injury. Do not use for personal restraint, lifting or towing. Check cord regularly for any signs of wear or damage especially when stretched more than 25% of unstretched length.
